With dentistry becoming more corporatized, it’s no wonder that patients feel like an afterthought in a sea of dental mills. In every corner, a chain exists to serve their shareholders as they place profits above patients. Having worked in corporate for a decade, I have seen the frustrations when patients are forced to try a new and different dentist each visit. It’s no wonder patients feel dismissed as they are passed along provider to provider.

 

But let’s be honest. Most of us choose a doctor unrelated to skills, experience, or fit, but rather if the office is “in-network” with our insurance. To this, I implore that you don’t allow your carrier to dictate your health. Only you can decide whom you can see. Likewise, you should demand someone who will listen & communicate with you openly without any hidden agenda. Someone who won’t cut corners…Someone who takes pride in their work.

 

Most offices dominate the industry by seeing large volumes of patients that push for aggressive treatments. At my practice, you can expect to never be upsold or rushed alongside multiple patients while you’re in our chair. We enjoy what we do here, and we like to take our time doing it right.
